Whole living, Whole Lifestyle, what does it mean and what can we do to get there in this day and age?
Every day we all make choices, big and small, and they change all the time. But surrounding these daily choices are decisions we’ve made about our lifestyle that play the major role in our well-being, and especially our health.
The reason that lifestyle recommendations are doled out bit of information at a time We assume no one has found the best lifestyle as a whole.
Statistics about American lifestyle rise and fall, but statistics fail to reveal that modern secular society has some dominant trends that work against true, lasting well-being. These trends include:
Increasing stress
Fast pace of living
Distractions including the Internet, social media and games
Increasing rates of aging and dementia
Rampant consumerism and the debt it brings
Decades of stagnant wages for the middle class
Collapse of major safety nets like pension funds, and the threat of losing one’s social security.
Rates of obesity, packaged foods with toxins allowed, high sugar fructose corn syrup, fat /hydrogenated fat and refined salt
An epidemic of anxiety and depression
Global climate change, the COVID pandemic, pandemics in general and refugees fleeing from these and war.
Collapse of trust in public institutions and politics
Disparity between rich and poor
Challenges are persistent. You hear about them every day or actually experience them. They are inescapable, and the individual is basically powerless to solve them. Any single issue on this list is enough to overwhelm your life if you get too close to it. Dealing with malaria in Africa, opiate addiction in the Rust Belt, suicide among veterans, or the looming prospect of Alzheimer’s in an aging population—take any one of these problems, and you can devote every waking hour to it.
For the average person the real issue is that no one can ignore or escape these trends. They provide a background of troubling chaos you cannot put your head deep enough in the sand and not be touched. The most enlightened diet, exercise, and meditation program do not provide inoculation.
As a young child of 7 or 8, about the time one starts thinking, “What should I do with my life?” that brings lifelong well-being in the present chaotic condition of the modern world. I thought of a Utopia, it was a quite spiritual thought, I realized that it was possible for us all to work together in creating a space where we all benefit each other. The best lifestyle needs to include the spiritual and yet go beyond it—in other words, we need a “meta” lifestyle, like what Deepak Chopra speaks of in his book “Metahuman,” in order to have all-encompassing change.
“The best lifestyle can be achieved in a single phrase, waking up. When you lead such a lifestyle, devoting yourself to going beyond the everyday routines that people live by, the second-hand beliefs and opinions we have all adopted, the stories we continually cling to, and the agenda of the ego, which is basically “more for me.” Waking up is about personal evolution, higher consciousness, and the infinite potential that belongs to every human being.”

Every problem listed above is mind-made. We find ourselves trapped at a level of consciousness that not only fuels chaos and confusion but which offers no way to stop. We unknowingly inhabit a kind of virtual reality trapped by constricted consciousness. Reality, as we see it, we take for granted is a dream, spell, or illusion—choose any word for it you like. The “real” reality lies deeper inside us, at the source of pure consciousness that is the field of infinite possibilities.
Modern secular society can be seen as the most perfected virtual reality ever devised—you can spend a lifetime on your computer if you want. Taking that perspective, modern life is the ultimate trap, and nothing on the list will be solved. But there is an alternative. Modern life is so open to freedom of choice that it provides the best setting ever devised for escaping the illusion.
Evolving to higher consciousness, in other words, waking up is the only true solution. If you seek a solution to any problem, you can either struggle at the level of the problem, which is frustrating, or you can live from the level of awareness where solutions unfold through the infinite power of consciousness. This level is real, and it is accessible to all.
I am only offering the barest sketch of what waking up is all about, but I wanted to highlight that there is such a thing as the best lifestyle. Nothing that’s good in your present life has to be sacrificed, waking up expands every aspect of fulfillment. What’s really at stake is making the decision to wake up. That’s the first step in the direction of a future that works instead of a present that doesn’t.
So, how do we wake up?
There are many many teachers out there with great ideas and even teaching steps to take toward waking up. From Deepak Chopra MD who I have quoted here to Bruce Lipton and Gregg Braden, Tony Robbins…the list goes on.
What I have found is that I can hear what the teachers are telling me, and they are very motivating. I enjoy learning concepts from them. But at the end of the day, it would really be great to have systems and training in place so I could make all this a lifestyle and practice.
By lifestyle and practice, this is where I find lasting change, changing and growing my mind. Expanding my thought to become, well…

Change your mind and change your life!
So I kept looking, staying open to the possibility that I would find away to free myself from it all and rise above becoming a leader and influencer toward personal sovereignty. Because we all know that the only way to not be in the mire of the list above is to rise above and not be that.
As well, the way to help the people and problems in the world who are in that struggle is to not be that.
Personal growth and leader ship, are worthwhile endeavors and fortunately, I stumbled across what I was looking for through a thing called attraction advertising.
It’s where we attract like-minded people to become a part of our community of like-minded, thoughtful entrepreneurs, who co-create together. While owning our own businesses are thought leaders and visionaries put together systems and training learning how our mind works in order to let go of all the things society has pushed on us that no longer serve us.
Already waking up, it is time to listen to the synchronicities that are showing up for you. You are probably reading this because you were drawn to the information as you were already looking to start creating at a higher level of consciousness and the universe is conspiring to deliver what you want. In other words you are open and trusting in the universe to guide you to what is next in your process and have found the vehicle in which to drive you to the next level of waking up and living a lifestyle of personal sovereignty and solutions instead of problems.
